Visit the Kerry County Museum in Tralee. Described as ‘an absolute treat’ by The Lonely Planet, this museum is full of riveting archaeological treasures, artefacts and fascinating folklore.

Siamsa Tire, the National Folk Theatre of Ireland, located within walking distance of The Rose Hotel, is the perfect venue to immerse your team in a night of culture and entertainment.

Water Sports

With hundreds of miles of sandy coastline, you’re never far from the sea in Kerry and in Tralee, you’re nearer to a wetsuit than you think. Choose from surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, wild swimming, and power boating. We are delighted to recommend Wild Water Adventures in Fenit which provides a fantastic range of water activities and Splash Sports in Castelegregory as great options for your team activities.

Tralee Town Park

Take a stroll through the magnificent Tralee Town Park, located adjacent to The Rose Hotel. As big as Stephens Green, this glorious park boasts over 1200 mature trees and when the forty varieties of roses are in full bloom, it is a pure treat for all the senses.

Kingdom of Kerry Greenways - Tralee to Fenit

The first Kingdom of Kerry Greenways, from Tralee to Fenit, was launched in October 2022. The Greenway is a 13.5km cycle or walking route from Tralee to Fenit along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Starting in Tralee’s Casement Station, the Greenway follows the old railway line along the beautiful countryside and stunning coastline of Tralee Bay, finishing in the gorgeous fishing village, Fenit.

As you take in the magnificent scenery of Tralee Bay and Mount Brandon you will be delighted not to have missed our newest adventure in Tralee! Spend a few hours in Fenit Village, take a dip in the ocean, visit St. Brendan the Navigator's Monument and have a coffee at the Beach Cafe or Navos. You can also enjoy some water adventures with Wild Water Adventures or a boat cruise around Tralee Bay with Tralee Bay Experiences or Fenit Safari.
